House Bill 2469

HB 2469 – Allows a Second Dwelling on Forestland:          This bill allows a county to approve a forest manager’s dwelling for a relative of the forestland owner, similar to what is allowed for a farmer in a farm zone.  The bill has some restrictive applicability, but nevertheless will allow some owners of forestland to construct a second dwelling on their parcel.

This bill was a priority for the Oregon Small Woodlands Association (OSWA), who did a great job of shepherding it through a hostile legislature.
